This type of rubber hose is widely used in various fields such as oil field extraction, mine hydraulic support, engineering construction, lifting and transportation, metallurgical forging, etc. It undertakes the important task of transporting high-pressure liquids. The following will explore the composition and function of its internal materials.
1、 Rubber layer
The internal material of high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hose is first composed of a liquid resistant synthetic rubber inner layer and outer layer. These two layers of rubber are the core protective layer of the hose, which not only need to withstand the impact of high-pressure liquid, but also have good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The inner adhesive layer directly contacts the conveying medium, and its material needs to have excellent elasticity, pressure resistance, and chemical stability to ensure that the medium will not leak during transmission and effectively protect the steel wire layer from corrosion. The outer rubber layer further strengthens the structure of the entire rubber hose, preventing damage to the steel wire layer from external environments such as mechanical wear and ultraviolet radiation.
2、 Steel wire layer
Between the rubber layers, there is also a reinforcement layer woven from multiple layers of steel wires, which is the key factor for the rubber hose to withstand high pressure and high load. The steel wire layer is usually composed of multiple layers (such as layers I, II, III, or more) of finely woven steel wire, with diameters ranging from 0.3mm to 2.0mm, depending on different usage needs. The steel wire layer not only provides strong support for the rubber hose, but also significantly improves its tensile strength and pressure resistance. In the process of high-pressure liquid transmission, the steel wire layer can effectively disperse pressure and prevent the hose from breaking due to excessive pressure.
It is worth noting that in some designs, the third layer of steel wire braided layer may not directly participate in pressure bearing, but is mainly used to increase the weight of the hose itself, reduce its flexibility, and thus improve the stability and durability of the hose in certain specific applications.
3、 Medium adhesive layer
In addition to the inner and outer rubber layers and steel wire layers, high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hoses may also contain a middle rubber layer. The middle adhesive layer is located between the inner adhesive layer and the steel wire layer, playing a role in bonding and buffering. It can effectively tightly bond the inner rubber layer and the steel wire layer together, preventing them from separating under high pressure. At the same time, the adhesive layer also has a certain degree of elasticity, which can absorb and alleviate the vibration and impact generated during transmission to a certain extent, protecting the steel wire layer from damage.
4、 Fabric layer
In some high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hoses, in addition to the main layers mentioned above, there may also be a fabric layer. The fabric layer is usually located between the steel wire layer and the rubber layer, used to further enhance the structural stability and wear resistance of the rubber hose. There are various choices of fabric materials, such as polyester fibers, nylon, etc. They all have high strength, high wear resistance, and good chemical stability. The addition of fabric layers makes rubber hoses more reliable and durable in complex working environments.
The internal material of high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hose is composed of liquid resistant synthetic rubber inner layer, middle layer (if any), multi-layer steel wire braided reinforcement layer, and weather resistant synthetic rubber outer layer (sometimes including fabric layer). These materials work together to endow high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hose with excellent pressure resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and structural stability. In practical applications, different materials and layers of rubber hoses can be selected according to specific working environments and requirements to meet different usage requirements.
